THE CHAMPIONSHIP
After the success of 2010 season in Italy, a new single seaters series has been established in the People’s Republic of China in 2011 with prize offered in collaboration Ferrari Driver Academy (FDA) – the Formula Pilota China.
Formula Pilota China inherits not only the up-to-date vehicles and tech-services from Abarth and chassis manufacturer Tatuus, but also the spirit of building a successful platform for youngsters to further develop their single-seater careers. Formula Pilota China will have six events (twelve rounds) in 2011, visiting the top Chinese circuits of Shanghai, Ordos, Zhuhai, and Sepang in Malaysia, the championship will support FIA WTCC and FIA GT1 World Championship events in PR China.
Formula Pilota China doesn't only provide a cost effective series concerning sports, but also a powerful marketing platform for companies investing in the world's second largest economy.
