Ryan Liu Zexuan and Robert Tang celebrated a well-earned GTC class podium at the season finale of the China GT Championship, held at the Shanghai International Circuit.
Liu, a highly experienced and well-regarded driver who has represented Asia Racing Team across multiple series, teamed up with amateur racer Robert Tang, making his GT racing debut, in the No. 2 Blackjack Racing Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 for the final round of the season.
In front of a strong crowd at the Shanghai venue, Saturday’s opening race concluded under the floodlights. Liu’s pace, combined with Tang’s determined drive, secured the pair a third-place finish in the GTC class.
Unfortunately, hopes of building on that result in Race Two were cut short, as a clutch failure forced the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 into an early retirement.
