It was an exciting and action-packed weekend for sister teams 阿波罗RFN赛车队 (Apollo RFN Racing) by Blackjack and 阿波罗RFN赛车队 (Apollo RFN Racing) by ART, as the F4 Chinese Championship returned to the Zhuhai International Circuit for the 2025 season finale.
Season regulars Andrei Dubynin and Viktor Turkin were joined by Héloïse Goldberg and Team Principal and 2025 China GT GTC Class Champion Jack Pang, as the teams looked to close out the campaign on a high.
Saturday: Early Podiums
Saturday saw a positive start for Andrei Dubynin, who qualified P4 for Race 1 and P7 for Race 3 on Friday. The Apollo RFN Racing by Blackjack driver delivered a composed performance in the opening race, taking sixth overall and third in class, before improving further in Race 2 to secure an impressive second-place overall finish.
It was a standout opening day for Viktor Turkin, who delivered a masterclass drive in Race 1 to secure victory in the Master class, followed by a P2 class finish in Race 2 — further cementing his consistency across the campaign.
Sixteen-year-old Héloïse Goldberg impressed on her F4 debut weekend, scoring her first-ever championship points with a P9 finish in Race 1. Starting from the front row in Race 2, her race was unfortunately cut short following contact from another competitor on the opening lap.
Team Principal Jack Pang also had a solid Saturday, recording P6 and P7 finishes in the CFGP class, demonstrating pace and consistency across both outings.
Sunday: Drama and Determination in the Season Finale
Sunday proved to be a challenging day for Dubynin, who was forced to retire from the first race following contact at Turn 4. In the season finale, he showcased remarkable fighting spirit, charging from the back of the grid to finish sixth overall after an action-packed race.
After a podium finish in the morning race, Turkin started the final race of the season from pole position and looked set to end the year on a high. However, after a strong start, his race came to an early end in the gravel trap — a frustrating end to what had been an impressive rookie campaign, highlighted by multiple podium finishes and strong pace in the Master class.
Goldberg concluded her debut weekend with P12 and P9 finishes, demonstrating clear progress and composure throughout her first international racing appearance, and finishing as the top rookie driver across the event.
At the end of the day, Dubynin secured third place in the F4 Class championship standings, while Turkin claimed second in the Master Class.
At the conclusion of the season, Team Principal Jack Pang commented: “This season has been an incredible journey, and we’ve been truly overwhelmed by the support of our drivers, partners, sponsors, and fans — my sincerest gratitude to each and every one of you. A special thanks goes to our Blackjack Racing and Asia Racing Team mechanics team, who have shown unwavering commitment and professionalism throughout a challenging year, continuing to improve and push forward no matter the circumstances.”
